Just recently one of my belts started squealing when I shut off my 68 Charger. Belt tension seems to be fine, and no problem on start up and driving around, only when I shut if off. Thoughts of what could be causing it? Thanks guys!!

I'd remove your belt and see which component might be harder to turn than normal. Maybe a bearing going bad in alternator, water pump, power steering, ac clutch...

belts will sometime get a glaze built up on them
causing them to slip.
there is a very easy fix for that.
take a bar of soap and wipe the inside
of the belt down with it.
the problem will be solved..

Make sure your crank pulley is tight. Somehow, mine loosened up and I had the same thing happen when I shut it off. Loctite and retorque and the squeal went away.
