BigEasyMoparAssociation has a 2 day event every year that is a Friday afternoon and evening out and about touring New Orleans and food and fun, and then a BIG Mopar only car show on Saturday.
Here are some pictures of the 2019 show.
Rained up until about 9:45 AM, but the rest of the day was dry.
Around 150 Mopars
1st 2 pix are "my baby":

The Ram Tuned 2x4bbl intake on this Coronet are very well executed. Beautiful car and very unique!

The shaker scoop is cool.

My buddy said "Wouldn't it be even better if the "383" was a stroker motor...
It was! A 472! and a 5 speed!

Dang 5 months late on My visit in N.O.
Let me know about 6 weeks before you arrive and I'll let you know what will be going on when you will be here.
Mopar family like you are always welcome!

More pix!
One of the guys who blazed the trail for VICTORY with Mopar back in the day, in the AHRA, and I especially admire his racing skills because he, like me, rows the gears and his race cars have a 3rd pedal! "Mr. 4 speed" himself, Herb McCandless!
Link to one of many stories about Herb:

Always ready to help, a wellspring of knowledge, I usually have a couple of questions for him and he is happy to help.

The blower on the Charger SE works! Sounds great!

This real A-12 Super Bee looked like it was all original, and had the kind of past cars like that are made for...Lots of time slips from the 1320, and it appears to have been running bone stock, turning mid to low 13s at 102 mph average.

I have liked this bad *** Sport Fury since I first saw it around 4 years ago at Cruisin the Coast. Yet another 3 pedal car (I love muscle cars that you have to row the gears in!) 451 Stroker motor, clean rear seat removal, really menacing yet classy!
20190316_144758.jpg

Dual Holley 4bbl carbs w/vacuum actuated secondaries on an Offenhauser aluminum intake!

Nice interior work on the rear seat removal.

Another 3 pedal B-body bad assed car!

This AAR is possibly THE finest example of one, period.

Bad (in a good way) looking A-body, with a 472 Gen 2 HEMI under the hood! It shows AND goes!
20190316_144750.jpg

Yeah BOY it's got a HEMI!!!!

This was a really subdued, classy look for the Charger, but it has some serious binders behind those nice looking wheels. 4 wheel discs, big ones too. I see the big oval 6bbl style air cleaner, all glossy like, but I don't know what is under it. Super clean car. Hard not to like the hidden headlights. This is one of those cars I would line up next to and figure it's a easy win...looks can be deceiving. Still, I ain't skeered... lol
20190316_144633.jpg

Clean and knock your eyes out looks too! The vinyl top keeps it from demanding sunglasses to be able to withstand viewing it, and looks good w/the color combo IMO. That's this sweet 340 motivated A-body Duster:

A couple more pics of my bad girl. I am happy to say that she is running well again. Not at 100% yet, but way better than Cruisin the Coast. I had got my 3 Holley 2bbl carbs back from Promax, after they put just about everything they offer into all 3 carbs, a day or 2 before the week of Cruisin the Coast...Long story short, any and all fuel system components MUST BE FLUSHED before they are installed or used! I wound up with what I believe are stainless steel braid slivers in my 3 carbs and that was especially bad for the center carb Promax metering block! Took off the fuel lines and flushed them out (like I should have before I installed them) saw the debris and took apart all 3 carbs. Flushed out every orifice in all 3 with carb cleaner under pressure and put them back together. The blue reusable carb gaskets are AWESOME!
Anyway that fixed the crappy running engine issues and I actually enjoyed driving the 45 miles there!

This 71 Charger R/T reminded me of the one I bought in 78, but this one is way more bad *** and it is beautiful! Owner has had it for 33 years! Real V-code, SUPER Track Pack (yep-4.10 ring and pinion Dana 60) with...A 4 SPEED! :bananadance:
Chin spoiler, Go Wing....
Did I say it has a :lowdown:4.10 Dana and a
:monkeyleft:4 speed? :bananadance::drinks::moparsmiley:
That specific color red is really the only red color of that era that I like personally. I'm not into the orange-y reds. It was spotless and awesome!

Hey look! It's got a 4 speed! :p:D:bananadance:

Nice regular attendee every year, I always look forward to seeing his great GTS at the show. Our club member, it's got a 340 4 speed :) convertible top, and custom interior. That tweaked Plum Crazy and White really pops!
