Bench Seat Adjustment

Hello Boys and Girls,

I tried to adjust my 69 Coronet bench seat the other day....the driver's side rail unlocked, but the pax side did not...

I investigated further, and found the clip that keeps tension on the wire between the seat tracks has broken...

Anyone else had this issue, and fixed it without a new piece?
I tried Tom at R/T Specialties, and he doesn't have any....

Yes, I had this problem with my 63. I made a new piece and riveted it to the seat frame in the same location. Works great and easy to do.
