Best Cleaner for Melted ICM on Firewall?

Hello again,

My ICM has melted and spread that gooey gel all down the firewall and dont know what would be best to clean it with? Paint isn't a issue right now.

Mine was melted when I got the car. I had to scrape it off of the firewall and break it off the wires on the harness under the unit. Still have some left. I tried to use Aircraft decal stripper I got from oreillys autoparts. It soffened up the paint and I managed to get some more of the goo off. But it didn't remove it all
