http://m.ebay.com/itm/380815890180?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE am looking for the closest to originals I can find. I dont want to spend a pretty penny and not get closest looking original tip I can find. I have seen some beat up originals on ebay and they look like the red ceramic (not sure ??) Runs a little longer through the tip than these for sale . Not sure though. Can someone post a good large pic of nice originals??? Thanks guys ahead of time. Just fyi my purple rust bucket didn't come exhaust or tips lol

those are the same PG Classics offers I think. I have those at this moments. I didn't like the red pipe shape got to meet the inneer and outer pieces, machine enlarged. They should get a welded conical section. Rest of tip is a GREAT piece.

first time I got a machine gun tips set was from a seller calles JIEMA on ebay... great pieces of $**T I had to live with for a while I got the PG Classic ones... HOWEVER the red pipe is correctly made but badly finished.

At the end, I didn't got satisfied with either one.

Since my PG Classics tips will need to be painted again ( Red inser didn't hold the heat &/or fumes on my car, I think will try to repro the inner insert correctly on an exhaust shop.

But wondering about the red paint or enamel which hold the heat and fumes.

here is another option, which seems to be sold as "generic pieces"

Quality? unknown, but price? seems kinda FAIR.

I suggest Accurate Exhaust. They make some of the best fitting, quality stuff from what I have heard and experienced. Also great people to work with. I think they make those tips in stainless so they don't rust and look like crap in short order...

oh man I want those but not for the roadrunner - they even turn!!!

Lol thanks guys I will buy the accurate tips. They should give u guys shirts or something lol. Now the big question who is going to get the machine gun tips and make them shoot fire????

Doesn't appear that they (Accurate) have the correct tips for a non-resonator 71 Plymouth B body

The tips in this auction are not correct for a 71 GTX (they are correct for a Charger). The Plymouth version for 71 was shorter.

Damn, only $200 for a pair of stainless tips?

I remember 15 years ago they were $350-$450 a pair and no stainless option.

Where can one get a correct set of tips for a 71RR?

Yea I saw a used gtx exhaust tip on the bay and it was the shorter version of the two. Does anybody with 71 gtx know, did they only produce the short tips or did they produce and use both short and long tips?

If you're looking for paint that will take the heat, I'd suggest either high-heat engine paint, or brake caliper paint.
