Best repop bumpers for 69 Bee

I have an original front bumper that needs re chromed but I do not have a rear bumper. Who sells the best re pop bumpers and would it be best by to re chrome my original front or get a new one?

I bought a new AMD front bumper for 1/2 the cost of having my rear bumper rechromed! AMD's is identical thickness to OE and seemed to be fairly flawless. Either way you go, seal the back side with Rustoleum Rust paint in Silver/Aluminum.... as shown in my resto thread.

Hang onto the original ones for sure. But maybe the re-pops are a good way to go just to get something on there that’s less expensive than re-chroming bumpers

I am very happy with my AMD bumpers. You'll save a bunch on shipping too. Order through a place like Summit and they only charge oversize.

I weighed my AMD and my OEM bumpers and they were within a pound.

Looks like I can get both front and rear bumpers for about $980 through AMD on eBay and it’s free shipping is that about right?

Send me a shipping label, and i'll GIVE you a new FLAWED, amd repop rear bumper. I've had this one for sale, for months- no bights. I bought a set on ebay. The front had minor flaws in the finish, which aren't really seen. After months of emailing, and my sending pics, of the flaws in the rear, they sent the one in pic, as a replacement. But it has what look like grinding marks, which show through the plating. So, i'm living with the first one, which distorts the reflection image.

Well, if a new one is $400 I doubt shipping would be close to that. I guess it just depends on how bad the defect is.

For a beater maybe, but with your new paint job, it would be just, wrong.
