I would do a 90 angle cut 1/2 way and right turn, then down. To avoid the full verticle seam. Get a plub bob and level car. Then take a plumb from the horizontal seam. measure from the door jam on driver side and allow for 1/16TH SPACE. uSE THE NUMBERS FROM DRIVER SIDE AND TRANSFER TO PASSENGER.

well it didn't have the driver side quarter when I got it, I have one to put on but not ready for that side. whats a plub bob?

That's a challenging piece there. The amount of work/welding to get this piece right will be equal to replacing the entire qtr panel, well, almost! Nothing like new AMD qtr panels!

ok thanks, I have a full quarter for the driver side so I guess I should hang it first and go off it.
