Looking for information relative to the spark plug wire looms on a pair of valve covers I bought to replace the aftermarket ones that were on the 440 when I purchased the car. Would like to answer the following question:
1. The model year(s) big blocks these were used on?
2. What was attached at locations 1 & 2?
3. For locations 3, 4, & 7, was a two wire or four wire loom used and what cylinder number were routed through each?
4. Were locations 6 & 7 for a single plug wire and if so what cylinder number?

Thanks for any info you might have on this configuration.

1-Heater hose bracket.
2-Wiring by alternator.
3-4 Most likely held 2 or 3 right bank wires.
5-6 #7 plug wire.
7-Most likely held all 4 left bank wires.

Do you have a photo of the heater hose bracket?

#1 location is for a bracket supporting charcoal canister vapor hoses beginning mid-year 72. As mentioned, those raised valve covers are later seventies.
