Black beep-beep horns ?

My 73 RR has a black horn - saw one for sale on Ebay as well - some were black ?

Yes they were black in the 68 models.

And 73-4's were black ? As I was saying, mine is black, want to make sure it's correct.

I believe only 68s were black they started going purple after that, you might have a 68 in it or someone painted it.

And they used to be in the JC Whitney catalog back in the 80's for $20.00. Yep, the real Sparton horn. I should have bought a ton of them.

I have a 74 rr i bought for parts it had a purple one on it .....

The front grill is rusty on the horn .. Anyone ever beed blast one ???
Wondering if it would wreck it or not ???

69- 74 ABSOLUTELY HAD THE PURPLE HORN WITH THE VOICE OF ROADRUNNER DECAL beware of the forklift horns seen many on e-bay
