Remember that from my boating days....Great stuff...I don't recall it changing the metal finish appearance either.

I prefer to use a product that provides the best anti corrosion properties while maintaining the actual metal finish appearance....A tough combination to achieve.....

Why not use a can of clear flat enamel? Put 3 coats on and will last a long time.

It changes the finish appearance, if it gets scratched rubbed etc.. thats a problem and surface rust can develop...

I use what has worked the best for me and I have tried almost everything. Especially the clear enamel......
