Whos done one? There are several different kits on ebay, then an insulation pad, does anyone just sell the whole rebuild kit with insualtion or do oyu have to buy all seperate? What is not included in the kits? Ive heard people say to blast with glass beads then clear coat it,any opinions? My main thing is ordering the kit & making sure to get everything for it..Mine is a 69 RR without AC

EBay Detroit Muscle Technology sellers name lorettafillmore. We got ours there and ordered the big kit non ac and it had everything we needed to restore ours. It also was reasonably priced and shipped quickly. We have bought other stuff from this seller and always been happy. Hopefully this helps.

I used the foam backed fuzzy headliner material as found in the newer cars to repair al the doors. Just go to the fabric store and pick up a half yard or so. Yes, gently bead blast and clear coat is the way to go, which also work for the air grabber box.

Detroit Muscle Technology is the way to go for the gasket kit. great product I have used at least 20 times. don't forget the vent to cowl seal which is sold separate. light bead blasting as mentioned before is usually all that is needed to clean the fiber part of the box. then clear coat it with satin poly. use satin black on painted parts and I use eastwood paint on the bare metal parts for protection.
