Bob Weir Won't Be Down For Breakfast

I had no idea he was ill. He was sort of a health freak.
He’s not the last member of the Grateful Dead still alive. Bill Kruetzman is still alive. As is Mickey Hart who joined the band a few years after its inception. And TC who was in the band for a few years in the late 60s, though he’s in bad health now.
Also some of the keyboard players who played in the band for the last years after Brent Mydland OD’d.
RIP Bobby, keep truckin on.

R.I.P.

I stand corrected and edited my post.

RIP Bob. I’m not a Deadhead but I enjoyed your music and appreciated the vibe.

RIP. Saw them once in my life just before Jerry died.

I've always been a Dead Head myself. Most may not know but Gerry Garcia was a classic trained musician as both parents were teachers and professors of music. He actually, cut off his middle finger on his right hand, to avoid being drafted back in the Viet Nam era and still was able to play despite the missing digit!!! Now Bob has moved on to that Rock Band of the Heavens...RIP Bob...cr8crshr/Bill :praying::praying::praying::usflag::usflag::usflag:

Jerry lost his finger when he was on a camping trip with his family when he was 4. He was holding a log his brother was chopping when the accident happened.
His father drowned, if memory serves also during a camping trip, so garcia had bad luck with camping!
Jerry enlisted in the Army around 1960 at 17 after getting in trouble with the law, but was discharged after a year.

I stand corrected on that. That story for some reason has always resonated with me so I just took the tail as factual. I should have looked it up before making the post so thanks for pointing it out to me. So now I do know the facts...cr8crshr/Bill :thumbsup::thumbsup: :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:
