Interesting timing with this news for me. Last week I was watching a rerun of Emergency on MeTV where the plot centered around a headstrong young doctor who was being condescending to Gage and Desoto, but had an attitude adjustment after he was assigned to do a ride along with the paramedics for a shift. I wondered if it was Bobby Sherman, and when the credits rolled at the end, I saw that it was. I then looked up his bio online and found that years later worked for the LAPD as a reserve officer doing first aid and CPR training. I wonder if his guest starring on Emergency was what inspired him to do that. Sad to hear of his passing.
