Body panel repair parts

Autobody specialties was the first on offer those. But that’s a piece “easy” to build

My car got quarters made locally by a shop then made to fit by the body man.

Lower fender patches were made by him

Sorry, pics uploaded in no particular order

THE FENDER “DOG LEG” made in home.

REST OF QUARTER PICS MADE BY A SHOP IN VENEZUELA... I got a NOS PANEL out of ebay in USA to ship it to Venezuela and get the shape correctly done. Both quarters were made the same.

Sidemarker area was cut from the original one and welded to the skin made

Nacho, unfortunately that level of skill is hard to find in the States. And extremely expensive/booked ten years out when you do find it.

The passenger side of the trunk drip rail up in the corner by the back glass is also popping rust.

Also why I’m not opposed to replacing with complete panels instead of patches either. I have possibly located a door.

If you can find a clean door, buy it. The rest will most likely have to be patched. The tabco quarter skins are supposedly decent, 72 full quarters are reproduced and the lower half may be usable for 73/74 but I’ve only seen one poster who went that route. There may or may not be a difference in the wheel opening.

No they aren’t...

And inner brace is the same
I was refering to the OP asking about the lower front fender patch panels, dont know why I called them doglegs...
I am working on a Plymouth, not a Dodge. I guarantee Plymouths are different between 71-2 & 73-4. Sorry for the confusion.
My point was there are better options to their parts based on my expierience with those patches.

Apparently Yearone sells some, the pic sure doesn’t appear wide enough but the dimensions show 13 1/2” wide so it may be correct.

$172.00 for two pieces of flimsy sheet metal??

KISS my A$$ Year One!! No wonder I gave up on them many years ago.

To the OP yes I'm in the same boat. Looking for a good fabricator. And when you do find one, they're backed up. Not thrilled about dropping off my car to sit and wait to be worked on. And then when you find a fabricator that's available they seem to do a lesser quality of work.

Oh ok! Dunno why I thought you meant Chargers being diff, but they aren’t :)

I have heard and also call them myself doglegs too.

Dog leg is a common term for it, at least in the Northeast. There is no good reason not to repop fender patches for us considering that they will fit all 71-74 Chargers. C’mon AMD!

I have a driver's side Tabco/Sherman/Goodmark quarter patch as well

shoot me a convo with other stuff you might need and maybe we can work out a bundle

At one time I had 2 73 Chargers and almost all of a 74 except the unibody

I still got lots o parts

You are better off buying the Tabco rear quarter panels and using what you need from them. The front fender patches for the lower fenders behind the wheel are available from Auto Body Specialties in Connecticut. I remember paying about $70 a piece, when I bought them for my 71 Charger. I got lucky with my 73 Charger that came from California. It is 98 percent rust free. It has two very minor spots that held mud in them.

@Chad Witham

Here is the pass side door I have.

fairly clean with the exception of the rust shown in the pics at the bottom corner. The outer skin is not rusted at all. There is one small are where it looks like it was maybe kicker closed and the skin bent around the inner structure pic #3, and as you can see, they were cu for speakers. The bottom panel completely covers this area.

I also have the matching driver's door and it is (of course) in slightly better shape.

$60 each if you want them and the quarter patch below.

I already removed the regulator and I'd like to keep the locks.

Here is the quarter patch.
There are a couple very small shelf wear dings.
In the second pic you can see at the top, there is a slight bend but it it is well above the line most likely to be needed.

I'll take $370
