Anybody running this box?

I had one on my 72 and loved it. If I remember correctly, I think you will also need a bergman coupler as well if you don't wan't to cut the steering shaft. To me, it was worth the extra to go that route. I originally had firm feel rebuild my original for but it leaked out of the box and they would not honor the warrany because it was over a year before I had it installed on the project.

Thanks everyone. I was looking at the kit with the pump hoses and coupler. I was initially going to get the firm feel, but this looks way better.

The kit comes with the coupler. Does that mean I don’t have to cut the steering shaft?

FYI, there are more options to look into. Lares has new gearboxes 11033 & 11043. 11043 is a firm feel 2.5 turns lock to lock. You'll have to buy the pressure fitting to go with it, part# 177. Rock Auto has them for $398 & $467.

Thats what I put in my wagon recently. Direct bolt in, clears oe exhaust. However...if you have headers, which I do, you have to do some thumping. For my 67 w/440 and Hedmans, #3 & #5 had to get thumped some.
