Brake pedal arm removal.

My 67 Charger was upgraded to 4 wheel disc by the prior owner and I'm wondering if I need to drill the brake pedal arm. The car has a good pedal and seems to stop well, but the pedal is way too high. It's like a 10-1 pedal ratio. The setup they used for what connects the booster to the brake pedal arm is a flat thin arm, could very be the original arm. Would I be better off using the linkage shown? It looks like I could just hook up the linkage. If not how much of a pain in the *** is it to pull the brake pedal arm and just drill a new hole? Can't see what image you were trying to show but this is what stock power brake linkage looks like between the brake pedal and booster.

The linkage shown in previous post is the correct for a power booster install. Many years ago, my 66 Charger had the original single pot MC when I got it. That original MC directly connected to pedal arm with no special linkage. When I added a power brake booster and dual pot MC, I used the linkage shown for all to be correct, no modifications were required to the pedal arm when using that linkage but I do recall having to get a different reenforcment plate that went between the booster and firewall.
