Im trying to work out bugs on my 69, it needs to have a alignment but on a test ride and locking up the brakes it seemed ok, did not pull to the side. I installed a front sway bar and when i drove it now it pulls bad to the right. The brakes dont seem to be tight on that side so I'm wondering since it needs a wheel alignment as its totally out, would that cause a problem since i now have a sway bar? Thanks for the help

Just a thought.... Is it possible that adding the sway bar is putting pressure on the lower control arm, affecting the toe now? If that is the case, I would think an alignment and reset of toe-in should solve it.

Thought about this a little more, and if it is pushing the control arm enough to affect toe-in, it is probably affecting caster as well. Either way though, an alignment should solve the issue. I assume they will look at all three (toe-in, camber, and caster) when they align it.

I would get it aligned before you try to figure out what's going on. Adding a sway bar should not make it pull.
