Broadcast decoding help

Hey everyone, so my coronet had the wrong radiator in it and today the fan flexed and destroyed the radiator as well as the fan. I have the original broadcast sheet for the car and need help decoding some of the codes from the upper lines, for RAD it lists (54) yoke (6) Rad in (57) Rad out (45) Fan (16) fan spac (56). I think the 54 for the rad is a 26" but not sure how many rows it came with originally. Can anyone help me with the decoding? I have already checked the online decoders and cant find one for the b bodies. Also can anyone recommend a radiator for her? She's a 69 383 4brl a/c coronet. Thanks in advance!

I hope this helps. If you are looking for an OEM radiator, Glen Ray Radiator is the only place to go. I do not have any input on the aftermarket radiators.

The 69 054 radiator is "the expensive one". It was used for Max cool applications like trailer towing, the 6bbl cars and Hemis meaning there is a higher demand for the 054 with associated cost.

Typically the easier to find and lower cost 055 radiator was used with a/c. On your broadcast sheet, do you show your car came with the A35 trailer towing option?

I checked them out and unfortunately don't have that kind of money right now. I'm pretty sure the radiator I have in it is incorrect, so I couldn't have it rebuilt. It is supposed to have the 7 fin fan also but has a 5 fin in it. I want to put it back to the correct size radiator and fan, I think it might have a 22" in it. I haven't had a chance to measure it yet.

The 055 is much easier to find and far less expensive. It would also look appropriate for your car.
You have a 26" yoke so you'd probably want to go with a 26" radiator.

I was looking into a 26" from speedcooling. Then pick up a 7fin fan. So it's at least the right specs. Would I have any issues with that configuration do you think?

Without knowing the entire set up....it's hard to say. The factory engineers were pretty good at designing a total package what with water pump flow, thermostat, fan, radiator, etc. I'm not a guy that likes to tinker with things. Properly set up factory items work for me.

Plus, whatever you do assumes that the block passages and heater core are not plugged to ensure proper flow.

The only thing I would be tinkering with is the aftermarket radiator instead of a $1k reconditioned one. Everything else is how the broadcast sheet says should be on the car. Even the radiator would be the same size as its supposed to have.
