Move to the Midwest where $150k buys a NICE house, property taxes for that house are low and the $$ may just last the rest of your life if not squandered.

The thing to do when getting that kind of money is hire a financial manager from a reputable firm. Stick your hands in your pockets and don't spend it. Live frugally till it returns some interest and live it up on THAT money.
