Buddy seat question

Is a buddy seat from any year the same? I've seen some listed as 68-74 and some 68-70/71-74, were they the same across the car lines? Is there a diffence in the mounting hardware? What do I need to look at to find one for my 71? Thanks.

I am aware of two different types. I believe one is for C bodies and the other for all others. Not sure about the years.

I hope this is the case, the b body ones are easier to come by.

Sizes are different. I ordered new covers for the buddy seat in my 70 RR, ones I got were longer. I guess I have the wrong buddy seat.
