Just finished painting my car and I'm looking for some info on buffing the paint. I've never painted or buffed a car so I'm looking for any and all input. Thanx.

There are some good tutorials on YouTube from Meguiars and Norton. As well there are some home made vid's that are decent...
This one here most closely resembles what I would do, The Vid is a little annoying. 12-1500 to start, moving on to 2000, 2500/3000 depending on the clear and then polishing with a Farecla or Norton system. Their are many variables with polishing...Norton uses one polish and different polishing pads, whereas Farecla will ask for various pads and polishes. You should watch someone, get a demo or practice on a panel other than your car before attempting polishing on your baby. It requires a keen eye and tons of patience... YouTube has a bunch of Farecla videos that will help. Better than a lot of talk about what to do!
