Bugatti Veyron owners

Leno's 300 SL is sweet. Remember seeing one for sale in Newport Beach, on side of PCH in 1970 for 13,000. I don't care for Mercs today, but i have always loved the Gull Wing Coupes.....in mid sixties our family doctor had a 1960 300 SL Roadster...my Brother & i took it out on a smoker....sweet car. A Late Friend owned Frank Sinatra's 300 SL Coupe in the 80's but i never got the opportunity to ride in it.

Here go Bee,,, the Royale, 6 built between 1927 & 1933. 12.7 litre straight eight. Check those wheels....veined for brake cooling.

In case you wonder if 12.7 litres was enough, when Bugatti found it wasn't selling many Royales they started using those engines in trains. Making their own lighweight trains to compete with smoky steamers, they were luxurious and fast. The most comfortable model, The Presidential set records at 122 mph. with it's four engines. They built more than 100 railcar units over a five year period, bringing in lots of revenue for the company.
