build date

hi all.hopefully someone will chime in here that knows for sure the answer to my question.
so with a 68 roadrunner that was built at the st louis plant and the last six of the v i n being
257600 can you tell what the build date is

Do you have the fender tag for your car? That will give you the production date.

You need someone with a St Louis built 68 car and a VIN close to yours and has a fender tag. No build sheet either?

If it has its original k-frame there is a date stamped on it from the day the engine was attached to it.

Sorry. I'm not much help on this one.

Car 254643 has 604 for its SPD and car 260559 has an SPD of 612.

So the best I can do is about June 8th.

68 and earlier is tough as you have to find both the tag for the SPD and the VIN.

ok.so do you think there is a way to get close by using the julian 10k calender and the vin ,knowing it is a st louis built car
