I just want to verify whether the cooling fan blade on my '70 Sport Satellite 383 HP 4 speed non A/C is the factory correct one. It presently has the 7 blade (non clutch) fan. The car's build sheet fan code is #24 found on line 3. I've tried to find this code elsewhere, but no success. Appreciate any help on this basic question.

I don’t know the Code on the BS but I had a car like yours it was all original numbers everything and it had the solid 7 blade fan on it.

According to galen govier, code 24 is 68 to 71 383 - 440, non AC 7 blade 18" diameter fan with a 2" solid spacer.

Thanks R/T Boy 67 for the info.
So, what 1970 applications were the clutch fans used (in big block cars)?

I think generally AC, or N51(max cooling). There is also a N65 code for torque drive fan. I don't know if that was a stand alone option, where you could order it on a car that wouldn't normally have one, or if it was part of a package. I don't know about 1970, but in 1969 the drive unit was also listed on the broadcast sheet.

The number on the build sheet is the last two digits of the part number
