Sooo, needing an aftermarket chrome front bumper. Since prices seem to be close, who has the best? These are ones I have seen. Are there others??

goodmark
Amd
Bumper bro’s or something like that.

All are good choices...bumper boys are at the MOPAR Nationals every year.... nice stuff !!

I have used none of the above, yet, but I will need front and rear for a 69 runner. I have heard nothing about goodmark, nothing but good about amd, and nothing but horror stories about bumper boys.
I know who is getting my money.

I haven’t heard good things about Bumper boys either.

I bought amd front & back. Both had flaws in the chrome. The rear had an area that distorted the reflection. i spent weeks getting a run around, emailing pics, and calling. Finally, they sent a second rear bumper. It was much worse than the 1st. I still have it on craigs. Lol

Personally I wouldn’t waste my money one an aftermarket bumper, I’ve seen my friends fight them and it’s not worth it. It’s a part that is one of the most noticeable on your car don’t make it something you see every time. I would have an oem rechromed, yes it’s less convenient and it’s quality will depend on the player but I think you would be happier with it... I personally didn’t care for the A body bumpers they were thinner..

I put AMD bumpers on my 70 Duster and am happy with them. I measured the thickness after hearing that they were supposedly thinner than originals, but they were the same. They are way better than an original pair that I had rechromed for a Charger a few years ago at Tri City Plating in Tennessee.

It seems to me that it kinda depends on where you are in the country, and what quality of work is available. My stuff is still in calif for the most part, and with the onerous regulations , all the marginal shops, and most of the good ones have closed. This gives free reign to the ones fighting to survive to charge more than the customers can bear. The quotes i get here for straightening and rechrome one bumper, i can buy both amd front and rear outright, and keep an extra couple hundred in my pocket. It didnt used to be that way, but for me, now, its a no brainer.

I like the feel look and quality of an original bumper, i still have an extra one sitting around here
