Has anyone tried the BPE MN2235 accelerator cable hold down from Classic Industries? How about a picture of it installed? Trying to get my cable in line with the carb linkage on our drag car. New engine this season, 500 cid low deck. In order to fit under the hood I had to go with an Edelbrock Torker 383 with a 2" HVH Super Sucker spacer (2"). The cable angle using the stock style bracket makes the cable at such an angle that it binds. The part I am asking about is quite attractive and looks functional, but would rather check with other MOPAR folks to be certain. Race season is coming up fast.

Thanks, Rev. Mopar (Class of '65 Coronet Wagon)

Use the Amazon generic cable that looks a like a Lokar. https://www.amazon.com/MaySpare-Thr...0meprSL6YWJFW6KrPntf7uRGn50quYNN_T_uyrzcLKa5l You can make it any length you want. I trimmed the threaded portion and nut thinner at the pedal end for more travel. Replaced the rubber bushing with a piece of brass that was an old fuel inlet fitting before a little lathe work. The carb bracket is just 1/8" plate welded up with a hole drilled. One cation. The supplied ball stud is week, replace it. Other than that this setup has been perfect for over 300 runs.
