Every now and again you see an ad in Hemmings for used Hemi parts because someone is building a cackle motor. Man, I wish I had that kind of money just to make some noise. Very cool noise, mind you. :icon_wink:

No doubt. Can you imagine hanging off the back end of one of those and not being able to see over the engine? Takes a lot of ball bearings I'd say.

Brings me back to the days at Ontario International Raceway/LA or Fremont {where ever}when they would line up all the 32 car F/C field or 16 car AA/A fields or 16-32 T/F Dragster fields & fire them all up at the same time & do a real Nitro cacklefest, lining them up at an angle down both sides of the strip, back when I use to go with my step dad Bob racing all over the west coast, in the mid-late 60's early 70's, Drag Racing haydays here in Calif., those are some freaken' great memories, thanks for bringing that memory back & posting that cool link...
