Wouldn't that casting date be for a 70 car?
Yeah. 1969 build for 1970 car.
Explains the E Body shift linkage.
Just a tad spendy too, I might add. Seller must figure if a potential buyer is building a Hemi E Body they're made of money.

Obviously a 7/28/69 casting date block didn't get built into a motor for some time, week or more. Into the fairly early '70 production run. Uninformed seller, stay away, not just for the price.

What a bargain. Bet his email won't be lighting up with buyers.

Early estate sale on ebay had a Hemi with trans for a 71 car, same deal. Price was $60.000 plus don't remember exact amount. Saw it again awhile came down $5k.

Nicks Garage recently sold the same setup so he could finish up his Vanishing Point Challenger; never said what he got for it that I know of.

double the going price :p , I'll take 2 :realcrazy:
