I have a disc brake setup from a 1970 Challenger on my '67 Satellite that originally came with drums.

I'm replacing my calipers with new ones. As I was taking off my old ones I noticed that are missing these two parts, both listed as anti-rattle clips on:

https://www.jimsautoparts.com/brake.htm

Here's what the missing parts look like:

and

I've been driving around for about 14 years without these being on my calipers, so are they even necessary?

If so, is there a cheaper place to find them than jimsautoparts.com?

Thanks in advance.

They are "Anti-Rattle" parts. Just go the local parts store and ask for the hardware kits, and they should include these parts.
