Hey guys I recently acquired a 64 Plymouth Belvedere and it has a 360 in it with a 727 trans reverse valve body and either 3.73 gears or 3.91. Had to pull engine do to vibration and was thinking of a cam swap. By the way it idles it sounds like it has a small cam already. It's a 79 360 with J heads and I'm not sure if heads have any work but I'd assume just stock for now. Has stock rods with arp bolts and mains have arp bolts as well. I can see it has new pistons but not sure what. I just dropped engine off at the machine shop for disassembly. I'm guessing it's probably got kb pistons and around 9 to compression until he cc's the heads and checks compression. Has a Wieand Stealth intake and new 650 Edelbrock avs carb. I do have a brand new Hughes 2400 to 2500 stall converter.

I have the Racer Brown SSH-25 .486 lift hydraulic in my 340. I like it. You have the gears to use it. Shoot for 10.1 comp ratio. Might have to bump your stall but try it first. I have a 3k Dynamic.
