Can a 71/72 grill bird attach to 73/74s?

Ron, those birds show up on eBay all the time; some are NOS, some are repros, and prices range from $25 to $80 or more.
Looks to me like a hole could be easily drilled in the center of the '73 grille where the top and bottom rows come to a point.
(btw there was no bird on the '72 grille; the words "road runner" are pinned at an angle instead)

Thats kind of what i meant lol, Ive seen them often enough and yes, they do want enough money! I cant see any problem putting one on..

Your not kidding, I had to buy a whole grille with bird to get just the bird emblem because the want so much money for the little head. But I got the grille and bird for less than a new bird LOL.

lol, yep, i had to buy the whole p-side woodgrain piece with the RR emblem, Just to get the emblem.. i wont even begin to tell how long it took to find one and then it got lost on its way here, got my money back, then 2 months later it shows up and UPS just looked at me funny when i asked what it was cause i didn't order anything, here its the emblem and the wood piece showing up, so i had to PM the member i bought it from and resend his money, He couldn't believe it showed up.. we both thought it was lost for good..
