1966 Satellite with 1970 383. Electronic ignition with up dated wiring harness under the hood.
5 pin module 4 pin ballast
Standard coil and distributor.
Tried to start with 2 big backfires. Then it just cranks but will not turn over(start).
All parts are new. They all ohm out correctly, coil, ballast, module, and pick-up coil.
Timing is totally correct.
What could possibly be wrong?? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you,

Has it been running or is this after you have put the dist. or spark plug wires in? My first thought is dist. 180 degrees off or spark plug wires in wrong order..............MO

As Corn asked, was it running prior to this or did you add/adjust anything since it last ran? If dist was added since, could be out of phase. Although you sad they checked ok, do you have an extra ECU/ballast to quickly throw on? 3B's suggestion of checking grounds never hurts too. May sound lame but is the coil wire in all the way? You never know. Always start with the simplest things first.

Yeah, we need to know more about it to help diagnose it....

Any Chance you have your distributor cap on backwards?

Burned up spark plug wire(s)? Broken wire in ignition harness? Check the distance between reluctor and pick up. Supposed to be .08 I think.

Does it have fuel? Does it have spark? It's a matter of elimination. Don't get frustrated... you will figure it out.

How about the distrubutor turns counterclock wise!
Check firing order! Common mistake on mopars!

.008 to .010 and use a non magnetic feeler gauge. .08 is more than twice the gap on a spark plug....
