My mind is stuffed full of trivia and probably more than 20 years ago there was a story about carjacking in Africa. The owners of some vehicles were equipping the driver’s side of the car with flame throwers that shot out, and up, from underneath the driver’s door. Even more incredible was another defensive weapon was a 4’ sword blade that would rotate out at high speed and would slice through the assailants legs.
It made me wonder how many lawyers were in those countries. Maybe the assailants hobbled their way around the pokie. Awww, sweet justice.

The flame throwers were a real deal . England has some very restrictive gun ownership laws . New motorcycles have a very short ownership term due to how quickly they are stolen . You can buy 12 gauge shotgun alarms that fire blanks if your bike is moved in your garage . Maybe folks her could use them to keep the folks from stealing their catalytic converters ..worth a try ..

You gotta love that in a big way. Originally from the Twin Cities I keep close tabs on what goes on there - even more so since the the St George event. The car jackings are simply thru the roof since then - everywhere in the cities and the close burbs. I don’t ever remember that being any issue there until this past 2 years. Now it’s rampant. The shot gun horn would be a great thing to have. Although the cops there say don’t even try - just give up your vehicle. They’ll just as soon kill you as not. What the hell happened to my hometown….?
