For me, 1970 was the best year for the AMX and Javelin. Even though they looked similar to the previous two years, the grill looks more airy, the tail lights are full length and there's that new power blister hood. But underneath, the suspension was totally revised and the 390 had better cylinder heads. The smaller 290 was now a 304 and the 343 was now a 360. I wish I had a 1970 Javelin.
