I have a Carter B&B two barrel carb on my 383. Its the original carb that came with car. It was what looks like a air idle adjustment screw at the rear of carb. The other two screws are in the front in the usual place. Does anybody have a idea how to adjust this rear one and what its for. I have another later carb and it does'nt have one. Any thoughts?

Your best bet is to google, or whatever, for a Carter manual. There's plenty of free sources for them, including for your B&B.

A picture for us might help. I only know about the front two idle mixture adjustment screws on Mopar 2 bbls.

The only carbs similar that I'm familiar with Steve is the 68 version for 383... Two screws on the linkage, curb idle speed and fast idle speed adjustment, and there was one screw in the middle of the carb about halfway up on the throttle body that was for idle mixture

Picture? The only 2bbl Mopar carb I am familiar with is the BBD. Two a/f screws on the lower plate in front.
