Is Anyone Familiar With A Ford Carb Base That Will Allow An Air Filter To Sit Lower Over The Carb? Stiles Performance Put A Spacer Between The Intake Manifold Of My Engine And The Bottom Of The Eddy Carb On My Plymouth Because Of An Overheating Problem Involving The Gas In The Carb. Evidently, It Is Heating Up The Gas. Therefore, The Base, K&N Filter And The Mopar Performance Lid Is Sitting Higher Than Normal In Reference To The Hood On My '65. Supposedly Ford Makes A Base That Fits Down Over The Carb Lowering The Whole System. Anyone Know What Ford Part Number Base Or Car/Engine Would Fit The Edelbrock 600-750 CFM Carb?
