I have a 69 RR w/383, I put a 750 edlebrk (1407) on it, and I can't get the linkage to work properly, works fine up until about 40 then won't kick into OD, am I missing an adapter? Or is this just the wrong setup?, ive heard that the angle of the linkage makes it so it wont work right, if so, what carb is recommended?

I don't know about your 1407, my Holley needed p/n 20-7 and 20-67.

I've heard that you need one of these for the edelbrock. I'm not sure but I bought one just in case. I'm not that far along on my build yet.

Yes that bracket is needed on the primary carb. Be it a single or dual 4. Now may need to make your own rod to go from carb to throttle cable (bell crank) but from their to trans the factory stuff will work

You can get this carb to work with the linkage khryslerkid is showing above.

Nice pictures posted, I'll be dinking around with it tomorrow, keep you posted, by the way, when it comes to air cleaner, what's the difference between silenced and unsilenced?

Silenced has snorkel(s) and unsilenced takes in air underneath the air cleaner.
