Hey guys,
I have been creeping on your site for a long time now.... I own a '69 coronet that I have had for over 24 years now. My grandma bought it brand new and then she gave it to me when I was 15. At the time, it needed lots of work, but I have loved every minute of restoring and driving this car. The car has gone through many configurations (still original colour), and now it's being converted into a pro-touring car. Years ago I wanted the car to look like a '69 1/2 Superbee, so I put a fiberglass hood on the car. Still, I wanted a carbon fibre hood to replace it - but I haven't been able to find one.

Here's the car in street/drag-race form. It runs 12.1's at 109mph in street trim. Needless to say, I have a new (bigger) motor to go in this winter and I have replaced the suspension and re-built the k-frame to follow the pro-touring movement. More to come.

With that said, I plan to make a lift-off 6 Pack style hood in carbon fibre for myself, but maybe there's more guys out there that would want one. I don't have any pictures of the actual hood yet, but you can see the example of the finish below.
