I have been searching for a K0 4971s for my 71 hemi roadrunner 4 speed to get her back to numbers matching, I have come across a K5 4971s. Is that a later over the shelf replacement?
Thanks

ok, thanks. Question still stands on the K5

K0 is the date code which translates to November 1970. A 4971 is a front AFB carb for a 1971 Hemi.

ok, thanks - is K5 an over the shelf replacement vs a K0 number matching carb?

X2 on date code. K being the month, in this case, Oct (no letter I) and 5 being the year, likely 1975. So I would say it's a service replacement. If you have it I'd use it!

Thanks - thats what I figured out also, I'm trying to work a deal until I can find my K0
