changing from auto to a four speed

Need to know if I need to be concerned about the crankshaft 1969 440 possibly not being drilled out to except the four speed tranny? Motor came out of a full size chrystler maybe a Newport family car not sure exactly. What exactly do I need to do to find out or does anyone know for sure? Lenny

If it is a steel crank it's very possibly drilled for the pilot bushing! Not all were drilled! Only way to know for sure is to look!

My 1968 440 casting was rough drilled for the pilot bushing, but not finish reamed. I used an undersized bushing for this. Try Napa #615-1033.
