I'm affixing the body emblems and the old sticky-back adhesive is gone. Anyone know the best stuff to use? Charger Emblems.jpg

You have a lot of options with metal emblems. I'm pretty sure the factory "sticky tape" was rubber cement. It's a little bit messy, but you can remove the emblems at a later date without destroying the paint. You could also use JB Weld (or similar 2-part epoxy) which is more permanent.

I'll second BeeKeeper on this one. 3M actually made the double foam adhesive for most car manufacturer's. Unlike the stuff you'll buy, the original was die cut so you wouldn't see it through the letter slots. but you can do this yourself. If you buy it as a double-stick foam, you'll have to remove the old stuff completely from the letters and badging.

3M plastic and emblem adhesive

Just a word of warning if you decide to use the 3M plastic and emblem stuff, its permanent!!! After I did this I looked closely around the edge of the emblem, and you can tell it melted into the paint, its not glaring, but if you look with a magnifying glass you can tell. You don't need to use a lot of it and you don't need to worry about your emblems ever falling off.

yes use the adhesive tape, someone makes a thin black type, like the original thickness was.

your dodge hood emblem looks great I need a new one for my 73charger. I cannot find one anywhere!
