This is the Canon City area of Colorado. That little pin in the lower left says ADX.

That's the Federal SuperMax. The only one in the US. All the big names are there. YOu ought see that place lit up at night.

I watch Homicide Hunter and Joe Kenda was based out of Colorado Springs and I was surprised how many murders were going on there decades back. That being said it doesn't surprise me to see all the prisons as I read crime has been ticking up in the past 5-10 years... I guess it has it's good areas and bad just like most places...
