Hey all! My name is Mac and I'm restoring a 1970 Roadrunner with a 383 and Air Grabber.
I'm trying to get a good hold on black painted components in the engine compartment. Were these items gloss, semi-gloss or a certain degree of gloss from the factory. Photos I see of restored cars are all over the place and I just can't seem to find any solid info. Would appreciate any input. Great to be here and look forward to great discussions with all you motorheads!!

Welcome aboard and the answer is yes. Some parts are semi-gloss, some low gloss, some a higher gloss. Nothing flat black though.
