Fuzzy picture...It is hard to see what you mean.

It's not THAT fuzzy. he was pulling on the blue shark and I pulled it away and he went for my fingers with a low growl. No sense of humor. That white fuzzy thing above my hand is the sharks wide open mouth that he has chewed up.

Well that’s about the time for a heavy, fast hit on the head. My old shepherd got me on the hand years ago behind the sofa & after his head bounced off the wall we were good! Oh, the sofa went flying sideways a foot or so for added ‘swing room ‘!!! I think he was thinking “ oh crap what did I do?”

I closed my hand around his upper jaw with the droopy jowls against his teeth and squeezed. He got the message.

My old shepherd and me had an understanding- winter/summer if I put on gloves he said “let’s start growling&biting”. Never did it w/o gloves on my hands(?) but after the sofa incident, he knew who the ‘alpha’ was!!

I love dogs but some do need to be reminded that biting ME will not be tolerated. We have one that gets excited and jumps to lick faces. He sometimes has a depth perception problem and nips. You can see in his face the immediate regret!

True, and Remy is still a puppy so he's learning every day. When we walk out to the barn he dances around and play nibbles at my gloves and wrists.

Ghost when my shepherd got going I had to have gloves on! But he knew we were playing. Puppies are different.
