and half of next year's budget is spent. lol

My favorite gifts are the ones I buy for myself. Lol

congrats, a friend of mine bought some , they looked very nice, make sure you check them over good, valve job, guides etc. before running as with anything ootb.

Nice Trick Flow's good Santa...

That's the plan, i never trust that ootb machining is in tolerance. My best friend has a flow bench, he'll be all over these like a hobo on a ham sandwich.

Nice!

A friend recently put these on his 440 street car and it totally transformed the car!

Good to hear that! My 71 440 in my 70 V code Roadrunner runs strong with the (recently identified) 292/509 purple stripe cam, especially since I added new Comp Cams lifters springs locks and retainers. I have tuned the carbs on the aluminum 6 bbl intake and the FBO ignition system seems to be working well. It appears to be a stock short block with 452 heads-stock other than the Comp Cams hardware. So I would expect a significant improvement in performance by just bolting on the Trick Flow 240s...are those the 240s? What motor are they going on?

Yes, they are the 240s.
I have been accumulating parts to build a 463" RB(3.9 stroke w/7.1" rod)
The difference between stock 452s & Trick Flows should be very noticeable. IIRC stock 452s only flow around 225-230cfm.

I haven't even got everything for the 463 build & I picked this up today.

Good block and looks like a forged crank but the pistons are probably .160 in the hole! LOL!

Yeah like 100+cfm better...

I'm pretty sure that replacement cylinder heads, most likely Trick Flow 240s, will be purchased and installed on my current motor before I can spend the time and money (which I don't have right now) on a stroker RB. The only reason I would not get them is if the engine builder that I choose was vehemently opposed to them and insisted (with an explanation) on another head.
