Christmas Vacation is my all-time fave followed by A Christmas Story... I can still watch all of the Rankin and Bass specials...the new stuff pretty much sucks...
I was trying to remember, there was a Christmas show that used to come on every year about the birth of Jesus and could not remember the name... probably made in the late 60s. Much like the 10 Commandments...can anyone refresh my memory? There was another one about the resurrection that would come on around Easter, can't remember that name either.
I really want the kids to see them...

Yes! Thank you, don't know why I couldn't think of it....the other I was referring to was The greatest story ever told...
Man I remember watching those on the little tv we had back then I think it was a 27" console, lol! Seemed larger than life though. Heston was made for those roles! Thanks again!

Lampoons "Christmas Vacation" is a great comedy too,
it's a cult classic now...
It was back when we could still laugh at ourselves,
not all this PC BS 10 years or so prior to todays views...
