Christmas for my R/T. Today Coker delivered 4 new tires for my 67 R/T. They had a G70 15 on sale or I would have never paid the original price. They had a 1/2 price on that particular size. Check them out they may still be on sale, but remember their still not cheap.

Yes, those are normally very expensive. I bought two this summer like brand new. I paid $200 apiece for those.

Still waiting for Polyglas's for the Bird. UVT and Coker (one and the same company) absolutely terrible communication skills.

I agree Wayne, I ordered these Monday night, and have yet to get an invoice or a shipping notice. They just showed up. Of course Tennessee is just up the road, but still.....

I waited in 2019 for tires and gave up. Ordered 4 again in April and crickets.... sent another email 5 days ago.. nadda!

What about Kelsey Tire? Are they still selling the Polyglass repro's?

Mine on my Bird came from there. I didn't know that, but they're now over 20 years old. No dry rot or issues. I trust them more than a 5 year old radial.

I've always wanted to go visit down there. I understand the auto museum is worth the trip alone -
and if I were in the market for something from Coker, well....they're right there, too.

I see nothing different from original equipment tires. I have 2 cars with original redline spares that have never been run. As far as I know, I'm the first to take them out of the trunk.

I bought a set of Coker Redlines for my 1967 R/T. One of them failed with ply separation at about 4,000 miles. It is now part of a side table I made in my mancave. Replaced the front Redlines with DiamondBacks. They are a much better tire than Cokers, each of which took a lot of weight to balance. Picture of my R/T with DiamondBacks on the front and Cokers on the rear. Fingers crossed with them.

I have an appointment to have them mounted and balanced tomorrow afternoon. I will call customer service with any balance issues. The magnums have already been checked and no runout, so any balance issues will be a tire problem.

Coker makes their own tires in old BFG T/A molds. DiamondBack has BFG manufacture their tires in T/A molds, leaving what would have been the raised white letter side blank, leaving DiamondBack to apply their specific sidewall. BFG is just better at making tires than Coker.

I guess I wasn’t paying attention. Didn’t think 15 inch rims were available in b bodies in 67. A person can always learn something. Just hope to remember it.
