Our old USPS mailman/woman did a great job, up until like Jan. 2021
they started doing a different training & hiring programs (DEI) or something
the older carriers were put on different routes
When it snows/rains here the USPS mail sucks *** here
it's an easy route like 80+ home small rural community, 12-15 miles from town
with mail boxes on the side of the road,
unless it's a package too big
they don't even have to get out
what the heck ever happened to the their mantra ?
rain wind sleet or snow, from the night or day
the mail always gets through (something like that BS)
yeah right

past few winters our mail service has been a training route
I called the central office here & checked & made a complaint
after talking to one of the older/long time mail carriers
he had said;
they couldn't get the younger employees to work,
they are paid very well too
they often had packages & undelivered mail/bills etc., that they didn't deliver
come back in the right hand drive Jeeps back to the local PO...
Had to go out the next day, the supervisors hope/pray they were delivered...
Record #s of complaints (DEI)
Summer, fall & later in spring don't seem like as much of a problem
maybe different trainees ?
UPS does a great job here too,
it comes out of Angels Camp some 50-ish miles down the hill
the driver/s seems very good too, walks up & puts the stuff by the door,
rings the bell usually too (seems like a different driver every so often too)
our old drivers, a husband & wife were locals, lived right up the street,
unfortunately they both retired
FedEx sucks *** all year long, I try to not ever use them'
request another shipper if & when I can
the FedEx douche (subcontractors I'm sure)
I've seen throw it from the bottom of the stairs
onto the front of the deck
seems like 99% of the time, they are in a reg. white van, Ford usually too
with some magnetic signs slapped on it (screams out subcontractors)
the Yella fellas weren't any better either...
