Classiccars.com out of Dallas experience

Funny. There was a car on ebay that had been on a few times and not sold.

I was just about to contact the seller and make a serious offer.

About a day later the car showed up on ebay again, but this time listed by "liquidators"...and for 5K more.

If it didn't sell for 9K the first three times, why do they think it will sell for 14K this time?

You would be surprised

I've been there and checked out a 67 coronet for a fellow member. It was the worse cooperation from a dealer that I ever had. Long story short, I took a bunch of pictures and advised him not to buy. Let me know if more help is needed.

their attitude is.... a buyer for every seat. if you don't some fool will

I am familiar with Texas Classic Cars of Dallas, they are located near Love Field airport. I have looked at cars there a few times but have never purchased. Based on what I saw they are a typical consignment shop, some cars are great and some are junk. If you can go there in person they will let you check the cars out thoroughly but do not necessarily know a lot about them. Like almost any such store I would never buy sight unseen. Here is their website:

I went to classic car liquidator with a friend last year who was interested in a few of their cars that looked pretty nice on their website. Well don't be fooled by their photos. I looked at their entire inventory and did not like what I saw. Almost every car I saw had rust, paint chips, paint bubbling, body damage, dents or dings. And that is just what you could see. Who knows what you would find once you were able to get in there and give it a good thorough once over. I would stay away. All they do is Polish turds in my opinion.
