Cleaning the grille

68 Charger. What tricks do you have for cleaning bugs off the grille, particularly the headlight doors?

Just get some TurtleWax Bug and Tar remover and spray it on.
Wait for about twenty minutes and re-apply. You have to re-Hydrate
the bugs and their guts so they can be removed! Everything all
shmushed together is like glue.

There is a product called Bug be Gone.
We use it at the shop , works good. Only need a soapy wet wash mit if you let it soak in.

In my sportbiking days, bugs made a mess at 150 mph. We used hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. I believe it dissolved the protein. A soft worn bristle toothbrush, and off you go. That was before all the bug specific stuff out there nowadays.
